Council Notes:

The council meeting opened on November 15 with a prayer and Bible study on Acts 16.

The pastor's and treasurer's reports are available in the narthex. As of November 15, the General Fund had a deficit of -$701.84. Missions still needs $1,877 by the end of the year to meet our congregational mission offering (CMO) commitment of $10,000.

The trustees reported that a diseased tree had been taken down, two windows in the parsonage were being replaced, and that the church was changing insurance companies. The broken automatic garage door opener at the parsonage would be replaced on Friday.

New business:

1) The Service of Christian Carols will be Wednesday, December 16 at 7:00pm with refreshments afterward.

2) Christmas Eve service time will be 6:30pm.

3) Possible nominees for Elder, Treasurer, and Trustee were discussed.

4) The next council meeting will be 8:00pm on December 7, not December 14, since the school Christmas program is scheduled for Dec. 14.

The meeting closed with Lord's Prayer.
