The Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost
September 26, 2010
Jesus, priceless treasure,
Fount of purest please,
Truest friend to me.
Ah, how long in anguish
Shall my spirit languish,
Yearning, Lord, for thee?
Thou art mine,
O Lamb divine!
I will suffer naught to hide thee,
Naught I ask beside thee. (Christian Worship: A Lutheran Hymnal 349:1)

Music Concert: Immanuel of Willmar invites us to join them for the music and stories of Chris Driesbach. He was one of the members of Crown of Life in New Orleans when Katrina hit on August 29, 2005. He witnessed how 1300 WELS members from all over the country came and helped rebuild the church, member's homes, and the neighborhood. Since then Chris has been doing “Thank you” concerts in WELS churches across the nation. He shows slides and tells his story of faith and God's blessings. He was here at St. John's about two years ago.
The concert is Wednesday, October 6, at 6:30pm at Immanuel, 1816 SW 5th St., Willmar. You're invited for a light supper also, starting at 5:30pm.
