The First Sunday after the Epiphany -- The Baptism of our Lord
January 9, 2011
Hail, O all-inviting Savior!
Gentiles now their off'rings bring,
In your temple seek your favor,
Jesus Christ, our Lord and King.
May we, body, soul, and spirit,
Live devoted to your praise,
Glorious realms of bliss inherit,
Grateful anthems ever raise. (Christian Worship: A Lutheran Hymnal 87:3)
Worship Focus: Jesus is God's Anointed for all people
Order of Worship: Gathering Rite for Baptism, handout
