God's Word

First Lesson: Zechariah 9:9, 10

Our King comes as foretold. He come righteous and gentle to bring salvation. Rejoice in his peace

Psalm 24, p. 73

Lift up your heads for the King of glory

Second Lesson: Philippians 2:5-11

Ponder how the Apostle describes our Savior Jesus and what he did for us. This is why he came to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

Gospel: Mark 11:1-10

Hosanna cries out “Please, save!” That's why Jesus came.

Philippians 2:5-11

Contemplate Christ's Obedience

  1. Consider the heights from which he came
  2. Consider the depths to which he came
  3. Consider how to imitate him

The Lord's Supper

At St. John’s we observe the biblical practice of “close communion.” Therefore, we ask that only those commune who are confirmed members in fellowship with the WELS. If you have further questions about this, please talk with the pastor.
