First Lesson: Acts 1:1-11
Last Thursday was the fortieth day after the resurrection of our Lord, the day on which he ascended into heaven. We use the account of his ascension as the First Lesson.
God has placed all creation under Jesus feet.
Second Lesson: 1 John 4:13-21
Jesus is the Son of God. His ascension proves it. Since he reigns over all, we can fearless love others because we know that he is taking care of us
Gospel: John 17:11b-19
John 17 records Jesus' prayer in the Upper Room before they go to Gethsemane where Judas betrays him.

Vacation Bible School: Anyone interested in planning vacation Bible school please speak with Pastor Bitter. We are anticipating having it in July again as we did last year. More information will come after the planning begins and we are looking for teachers and helpers.
Summer schedule: Next week, Memorial Day weekend, we begin our summer schedule. Sunday service is at 9:00am. The same service is the following Wednesday at 7:00pm.
