Jesus, heav'nly hosts adore you, Seated at your Father's side. Crucified this world once saw you; Now in glory ou abide, There for sinners you are pleading, And our place you now prepare, Ever for us interceding Till in glory we appear. (Christian Worship: A Lutheran Hymnal 351:3)

We sing for our King

Second Lesson: Revelation 1:4b-8

Jesus is the eternal King, the Alpha and Omega. He has freed us from our sins with his own blood and makes us a priestly kingdom.

Gospel: John 18:33-37

Jesus explains to Pilate that his kingdom is not of this world; rather, he reigns through the truth.

John 18:33-37
