The Lord's Supper
At St. John’s we observe the biblical practice of close communion. Communing together is an outward sign of the inner closeness of faith that seeks to agree on all that the Bible teaches. So we ask that only those commune who are confirmed members of churches which have declared fellowship with the WELS. If you have further questions, please talk with the pastor.
Vacation: Pastor Bitter will be gone on April 26-29 to attend his niece’s confirmation. Pastor Main will be preaching on April 28. If you need pastoral assistance, please call Pastor Main (Home: 589‐4662, Church: 589‐1840).
Quarterly Voters’ Meeting: After service today is the quarterly voters meeting. Some items up for discussion are summer service time of 9:00 a.m. and no Wendesday evening service. We’ll also discuss whether to continue the joint outdoor service with St. Paul’s.
April Ushers: David Paul (capt.), Dale Kraft, Dean Rohloff, Kerry Roth, Don Spencer
