News and Notes

Bible Class: The Holy Spirit used four different writers to record the good news of the life of our Savior. Yet how well have we applied these words to our lives?

In July we’re beginning the Bible class The Life of Christ. To allow us to dig more deeply into applying the words to our life, each of the thirteen sessions asks the students to prepare in advance by reading a portion of the Gospels and answering some questions. Then class time can be more focused on discussion and application.

We will begin in July and the exact schedule will depend on the schedules of those who want to come. For more information please speak with Pastor Bitter or Bridget Joos.

Parade Float: Anyone interested in helping with the parade float, please speak with Pastor Bitter.

Vacation Bible School: Fruit is tasty and healthy. How much more so the fruit of the Spirit! That’s our theme for VBS this year. The schedule is July 7-11 from 10:00am until Noon. Anyone who wants to help with teaching, crafts, music, activities, or in some other way, please speak with Pastor Bitter. Students from three years old to those entering 5th grade are welcome. Invite your friends and neighbors.

Fair Booth: If you could help at the fair booth, please sign the sheet in the narthex.

Voter’s Meeting: The Quarterly Voters’ Meeting will be July 13 at 10:00am after the service.
